Coffee has become one of my favorite parts of everyday life in college - not just for the caffeine, but for the little moments of comfort and routine that come with it. Whether I'm getting ready for class, studying late at night, or having a slow morning before church, making coffee at home has become such a cozy and affordable ritual for me.
Here are some of my most favorite and most repeated coffee recipes in college!
recipie #1: salted vanilla latte
This latte is simple, cozy, and my favorite when I want something quick! It's sweet without being overpowering, and the salt balances everything perfectly.
What you need:
- 1-2 shots espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (depending on preferred sweetness)
- Pinch of sea salt
- Ice (optional)
How I make it:
- Brew the espresso or coffee
- Stir in the vanilla syrup and tiny pinch of salt
- Froth your milk or pour it over ice
- Combine everything and enjoy!
RECIPE #2: Caramel latte
This is my favorite when I want something that is indulgent and comforting. It tastes just liek something you would get during a long study day at a coffee shop
what you need:

- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 tbsp of vanilla syrup (depending on preferred sweetness)
- Caramel sauce or syrup
How I make it:
- Add caramel to the inside of your cup
- Brew the espresso or coffee
- Stir in the vanilla syrup
- Add milk, ice, and espresso to your cup
- Drizzle extra caramel on top if preferred!
RECIPE #3: HONEY BEAR LATTE
This latte is warm, sweet, soft, and cozy all at the same time! It's perfect for slower mornings or rainy days!

- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- 1-2 tbsp brown sugar
- Tiny splash of vanilla
- Cinnamon
How i make it:

- Add vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon
- Froth your milk or pour it over ice!
At the end of the day, coffee isn't just about caffeine for me (even though it's an added plus!) - it's one of the little things that helps make everyday life feel slower, cozier, and a little more beautiful.
